I will one day walk on another planet. Or at least i would like to if it ever becomes a possibility. I think everyone always has a chance. Played football (middle linebacker, offensive guard, long-snapper).. Basketball (coach just put me in to foul people).. and the toughest sport in the world.. Waterpolo ... Got reconstructive ACL surgery at 17, and ended my sports career...I had a blast in h.s. met a lot of good people and developed a strong network of friends.

I'm a pretty laid back guy. I love the outdoors - hiking, camping, backpacking. I tried college - a year at Marquette University in Milwaukee - , but I decided it wasn't for me. I'm working at Comcast right now, as a technician (ie. cable guy). The money is good and the job security is great. They are exclusively predatory, and their diet usually consists of living insects, including flies and aphids; larger species have been known to prey on small lizards, frogs, birds, snakes, and even rodents. Most mantises are ambush predators, waiting for prey to stray too near. The mantis then lashes out at remarkable speed. Some ground and bark species, however, pursue their prey rather quickly. Prey are caught and held securely with grasping, spiked forelegs ("raptorial legs"); the first thoracic segment, the prothorax, is commonly elongated and flexibly articulated, allowing for greater range of movement of the front limbs while the remainder of the body remains more or less immobile. The articulation of the head is also remarkably flexible, permitting nearly 300 degrees of movement in some species, allowing for a great range of vision (their compound eyes have a large binocular field of vision) without having to move the remainder of the body. As their hunting relies heavily on vision, they are primarily diurnal, but many species will fly at night, and can be commonly encountered at lights.

Well let's see. I started out life as a Submarine Sonar Technician for the Navy. Had many adventures over the course of seven years, then decided to move on. I then went to college at Southern Illinois University. I graduated and earned my commercial pilot license. I got out of the aviation industry and have been doing odd jobs since. Life's funny like that. I'm currently a caretaker. I help out elderly people with their daily living activities. From insulin shots to buying a new TV, I do it all. Not really using my degree, but that's OK. I'm also an assistant coordinator for the Wonder Lake Neighbors Food Pantry, which I do thrice a week or so.

Please let me know what you think. Have I left out something important? Do you have questions? On construction, I might add, I'm not finished yet either. Somewhere there is a quote that goes something like 'the day you die is the day you will stop growing and learning'. Because I am a Christian...I think it will not stop there. Life is exciting.

I hate being cliche but I'm looking for someone to help me to be all that I can be. I am a caring, giving person. Honest to a fault. That is reflected in my history. Well, I'm going to college (better late then never) right now and work. I'm very laid back and easy going and just looking for that special someone to share my time with.

I'm outgoing, lovable, easygoing, fiercely loyal, adventurous, a good speller, a bad singer, overly sarcastic, and I have recently discovered that I am pretty good at darts. I went to ISU for a degree in apparel merchandising for 2.5 years, but I'm currently taking some time off to pursue other things. I love cooking for people and trying new foods at new places. I'm up for pretty much anything, especially if I can get a good story to tell out of it. I don't judge people because I feel I have no right to. I treat people like I'd expect to be treated and am a very loving and caring person. I am probably the most unselfish person you'll ever meet. I'd do pretty much anything for my friends and the people I love/care about. I love to go out with my friends just as much as have a cozy night in. I procrastinate more than I should and am easily distracted, but that's just me. No one's perfect. Someday, I'd like to travel the world. When that's possible and I am financially able to do that, I will be the happiest girl alive.

I guess you could say that I'm not really your typical girl when it comes to relationships. I reallyy don't like feeling smothered and prefer to not see someone everyday. I don't want my boyfriend texting me all day long asking what I'm doing. I'm not looking for someone to complete my life, just to compliment it. So if you're looking for a girl who wants to spend every waking moment making you the center of her universe, I'm not for you. In the end, I feel that you appreciate someone more if they're not always around.

Now, what I'm looking for is something simple. I just want to date. Simple as that. I'd like to see what options are out there and have some fun. If it turns into something, great.
